In my last post, I discussed some of the native connectors Pardot offers as well as some of the non-native integrations. You may have been surprised to learn that tools such as Instagram and Unbounce, with a little custom work, can integrate directly into Pardot to increase its functionality even more. This post focuses other non-native connectors that have the ability to integrate into Pardot. Whether you’re just setting up Pardot or already have your certifications, I hope to shed some light on potential Pardot integrations you may have thought weren’t possible to get the most out of your marketing automation platform with these Pardot tips.
Google Forms
As a Pardot user, you’re probably aware that it has a form wizard where you can build, style and host forms all from within Pardot. It’s pretty great! However, there are some limitations you could run into depending on what exactly you’re trying to accomplish. Surveys are a great example. Technically, you can build out a survey form in Pardot, but at the end of the day it can be very difficult to aggregate all of your responses, which is the whole point of a survey. Integrating Google Forms into your Pardot activities can be a great way to bridge the gap between your survey tool and your marketing automation platform.

Vimeo
Currently, the only native video connector Pardot offers is Wistia, which I talked about in my last post. Wistia works well, but there are other options to consider. With a custom integration, you’re able to tie in your Vimeo account to your Pardot campaign. This will allow you to trigger actions in Pardot, such as creating and updating a prospect record, add prospects to a list and push out a list email when your prospects interact with your videos that are being hosted within Vimeo. If you add a new video, have a user add a new video or even ‘like’ a new video, you can trigger any of the actions above.

Hootsuite
A lot of you may already be familiar with Hootsuite, one of the more popular social media management tools on the market today. I wrote about the native social posting connectors Pardot offers in my last post, but a lot of companies have invested quite a bit of time and money into their current social media tools and switching everything over to Pardot isn’t always a viable option. With Hootsuite’s integration into Pardot, you can schedule a social message to be sent to newly created prospects as they flow into Pardot.

Asana
As a Pardot Consultant, I use Asana to help manage my tasks and projects. Asana has the ability to integrate into Pardot and allows you to do quite a few things. If you create a new prospect in Pardot, for example, you can immediately have a story and/or task created within Asana. On the flipside, if you create, tag and update a task in Asana, you can push that information over into Pardot and have it create and/or update prospects.

CallFire
CallFire is a beneficial tool for any organization that frequently handles inbound calls. When someone within your organization receives a new text to their CallFire account or has a call come in through their CallFire phone number, you can create and update a prospect, add them to a Pardot list and even push out a list email.

The whole point of a tool like Pardot is to be able to automate as much of your marketing efforts as possible. Pardot comes with around 13 native connectors out of the box, depending on your edition, but with tools like Zapier or Tray.io you can connect to over 1,000 apps to help automate your workflow and get the most out of your investment.
