Marketing Automation Manager, True Blue

TrueBlue is a staffing company, connecting people with jobs in a variety of industries. The company is comprised of three sub-brands, with each company focusing on a different staffing solution and market.

Challenge

The TrueBlue sub-brands were split with some using Marketo and some using Pardot, but the Marketing Automation team knew that alignment on the same platform was key to its success from both a cost and data perspective. Since TrueBlue had a Salesforce account (and some teams had had trouble with Marketo), Pardot was chosen as TrueBlue’s marketing automation platform.

Solution

Migrating and merging three accounts into one was a daunting task. Especially with new marketing leaders in place, the marketing strategy and focus was shifting. This migration would serve as a chance to set up the system correctly and start fresh. Lauren Hosimer – the company’s first Marketing Automation Manager and a certified Pardot specialist – looked to Invado for help with the migration. “I felt comfortable with Invado from the first meeting. And, I knew I could learn from them – I even learned some new things in our initial call,” Lauren said. “I was also impressed that they introduced us to the actual team in the beginning. It wasn’t bait and switch like other consultants.”

Invado seamlessly migrated the Marketo accounts into Pardot, fixed issues they uncovered and did so without any glitches or interruptions for the sales and marketing teams. Invado helped with the overall strategy of using one Pardot instance with three different brands, creating new templates and being a resource to TrueBlue. “It’s nice to have another brain to think through things with you,” Lauren said.

Once the migration was complete, Invado was kept on retainer to help with ongoing questions, projects and best practice training on Pardot. “They focus on guiding us, following best practices while working within the unique aspects of our business. I’ve been challenged to try things in different ways that are out of the box,” Lauren explained. “Invado was invaluable in migrating a nasty platform into one. They kept me organized, kept us on target and met our deadline. As a one-stop shop with Pardot experts and designers on-staff, they make your life easier and have elevated our use of Pardot.”
