The George Washington University is the largest institution of higher education in Washington, D.C. With over 27,000 undergraduate and graduate students, 10 schools and colleges, and over 450 student organizations, GW provides its students with an experience like no other institution. Data plays a huge part in informing and shaping the overall student experience, including registration, enrollment, progress, retention and graduation.
Challenge
GW had already invested in Pardot; however, multiple instances had been licensed throughout the University, causing an issue with data management and integrity. Now, the School of Business wanted to use Pardot to communicate with its students. Adding another instance increased the data management and integrity issues, plus added to the overall cost of Pardot for GW.
Solution
Invado Solutions had worked with GW on other Pardot implementations, and had earned the trust of the digital transformation team. So, when Invado suggested upgrading an existing Pardot license to the Advanced edition and implementing Business Units, GW listened. (Pardot Business Units are separate databases within a Pardot account that allow Pardot customers to manage data from multiple organizations within one centralized instance.)
Invado worked with the Digital Transformation team to upgrade an existing Pardot instance and implement Business Units. Then, Invado trained GW on the changes and advancements that Business Units provides. The School of Business is now using Pardot and the upgrade to Pardot Business Units actually lowered overall administrative costs and improved data management for the University.
“Invado’s expertise in Pardot is only part of the reason we have partnered with them. Not only do they look at each issue strategically and are always thinking of the bigger picture, but they are also very communicative, and give clear, concise explanations. We’re now on our third Pardot expansion and everyone on the team is impressed with their knowledge and experience.” Hanna McCathren, Digital Transformation Specialist, Digital Transformation Office, Enrollment & Student Success
